ME Professor James Van de Ven

James Van de Ven is the recipient of a 2024 University of Minnesota Graduate and Professional Teaching Award in recognition of his contributions to the mechanical engineering graduate program through outstanding instruction of grad courses, curriculum development, institution of a more inclusive qualifying exam format, graduate recruiting, and advising. 

Van de Ven's award is made possible through generous support from the University of Minnesota Alumni Association and the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost. Award winners are listed on Scholars Walk.
