Documenting Internet2: A Collaborative Model for Developing Electronic Records Capacities in the Small Archival Repository is a grant project sponsored by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission, a division of the National Archives (grant number 2004-036). The project is intended to develop feasible methods for selection, description, and long term preservation of historically significant born-digital records in the subject area of history of information technology.

Documenting Internet2 is a project of the Charles Babbage Institute, in partnership with the University of Minnesota Libraries Information Technology division, the University of Michigan School of Information, and Internet2.
