Outage Description

At around 11:00 AM, CSE-IT became aware of network connectivity issues with systems within the Math department. Symptoms include an inability to access affected systems over the network. We are working with OIT to investigate the cause(s) of the problems and will update this notice once service is restored.

Outage Updates

  • 09/17/20, 8:00 p.m. Outage Resolved. CSE-IT has powered on many of the affected machines as of 9/17 at 5:45 PM. No action should be necessary to restore service from the client side.
  • 09/17/20, 3:00 p.m. CSE Network and Security has found that the network connectivity issues were due to a power outage. CSE-IT is currently powering up affected machines.
