Instructional Support
Provides a set of tools for shared file and website storage, access group management, collaboration tools, and email list provisioning for instructors.
What's Included
- Access to, and instructions for, Canvas, the University’s learning management system.
- Access to, and instructions for, enterprise collaboration tools.
- Github
- Class-related project storage, by request.
- 5GB per person
- Requests for additional storage will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

- Setup and maintenance of Unix/AD access control groups, membership in which is authorized by the instructor or their delegate.
- Support for “outside-the-box” class-related needs and requirements—we aim to meet your needs on your budget.
- Setup and maintenance of Virtual Machines for specific instructional needs.
- Coordination with other University providers to ensure you are receiving the most efficient and cost-effective services and support.
What's Not Included
- Shared file storage is accessible only via CSE Labs computers, by console or via SSH.
- Support for Canvas is a collaborative effort between CSE-IT and OIT. Support queries may be escalated to experts outside CSE-IT.
- Support for activities not related to classes, such as research, are provided via other CSE-IT services.
