Poster Printing

Provides academic-related poster printing services to affiliates of CSE supported units.

What’s Included

  • Free academic poster printing for CSE students, staff, and faculty
  • 36” or 42” semi-gloss paper rolls
  • We accept color or black and white PDF files
  • Poster trimming
  • 2-business day turnaround on requests received before 5:00pm

What’s Not Included

  • CSE poster printing is NOT available to students, staff, and faculty outside of CSE
  • We don’t design posters—we only print them
  • We cannot print posters that require a roll size larger than 42”. One dimension of the poster must be 42” or less
  • Turnaround times of less than 2 business days

What You Need to Do

  • Plan ahead: request your poster before 5:00pm at least two business days before you need your poster. See the “Our Commitment” section for examples of poster request timelines.
  • Provide a PDF file: other formats are not accepted.
  • Proofread your poster: posters will be printed “as-is”, and CSE-IT staff will not correct visual or grammatical errors. Poster reprints for content correction purposes will not be expedited.
  • Submit your final draft: CSE-IT staff are not responsible for printing any files other than the original file attached to your request. If you need to make a revision to your poster after submitting, let us know and submit a new request.
  • When you are ready, submit a Poster Printing Request Form.

Our Commitment

  • Requests made by 5:00pm will be fulfilled and ready for pickup starting at 10:00am on the second business day following the day of the request. For example:
    • A poster requested on Tuesday at 2:00pm will be available for pick-up starting at 10:00am on Thursday
    • A poster requested on Friday at 5:00pm will be available for pick-up starting at 10:00am on the following Tuesday
    • A poster requested on Friday at 7:00pm will be available for pick-up starting at 10:00am on the following Wednesday
  • Posters are available for pick-up from the CSE-IT Service Desk in the lower level of Lind Hall, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding University holidays.
