We are pleased to announce Professor Chris Hogan as the new department head! He will begin a five-year term on July 1, 2024.

Our department is at an important juncture, and I look forward to working with all of you in continuing to modernize and strengthen our curriculum as well as our teaching and reaching laboratory infrastructure, and in ensuring our department is welcoming to students, staff, and faculty from all walks of life."
