MSSE class of 2022 student receives internship at Apple

Current MSSE student Mashfique Anwar will be spending his summer as an intern at Apple. The class of 2022 cohort member became interested in mobile development in 2015 while pursuing his B.S. in computer science at the University of Minnesota.

"I'm very passionate about consumer-facing apps and, in the future, I'd love to build an impactful product from the ground up," shared Anwar. "Getting the opportunity to work directly with the makers of iOS and macOS operating systems has always been a dream for me."

Anwar, an international student from Bangladesh, plans to apply all he's learned so far in the MSSE program during his internship.

"The MSSE program content is relevant for anyone in the software engineering domain, no matter what business sector you're coming from. The program is fine tuning my understanding of many engineering concepts needed in today's work environment," he said.
