Service Degradation: FastX on CSE Labs Machines

At 1pm on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, CSE-IT began receiving reports of issues regarding FastX on CSE Labs machines. Symptoms include: inability to access CSE Labs machines via FastX.
Due to our upgrade process of CSE Labs machines, FastX is currently disabled and unavailable on CSE Labs computers. Users who need a remote GUI can still use VOLE.
Service Degradation: Math Placement Exam and Doenet

At 8:10 AM on 6/26/2023, CSE-IT began receiving reports of users being unable to complete the math placement exam. Symptoms include an error message when the user attempts to start part two of the exam.
Service Degradation: Keller Hall CSE Labs

At 9:59 am, CSE-IT began receiving reports of power outages in the 1st floor Keller Hall Labs. Symptoms include: No power to labs machines.

At 11:10 AM on 11/22/22, CSE-IT began receiving reports of limited or no network connectivity in Tate Hall. Symptoms include a loss of internet and network access.

At approximately 1:00PM on 8/15/22, CSE-IT began receiving reports of network communication issues. Symptoms include: inability to connect to the University VPN, license servers, and VOLE machines.
