MnRI Industrial Advisory Board

MnRI’s Industrial Advisory Board consists of distinguished business and government leaders and University of Minnesota alumni. The MnRI IAB is dedicated to ensuring that the Institute excels at delivering value to industry and society through its educational offerings, research programs, and dissemination and outreach activities in Minnesota and beyond.

The IAB fulfills its objective by reviewing MnRI’s graduate curricula for industry relevance, providing insight into industry priorities in robotics and related fields, assisting in the pursuit of external funding for research, facilitating internships and employment for MnRI graduates, advising on technology transfer and entrepreneurial opportunities, and more.

MnRI IAB meetings are held biannually and typically include a public seminar by a board member or representative.
