Ted Morris has worked across various application domains within Intelligent Transportation Systems, including self-driving/driver-assist heavy vehicles, mobile, and roadside computer vision sensing for evaluating and monitoring road user and traffic behaviors. As a MnRI research engineer, he co-leads and serves as the primary technical liaison for research projects for real-time, regionwide, truck parking monitoring and general- vulnerable road user behavior monitoring for applications to connected and autonomous vehicles. His research interests include VR immersive environments and sensing for human neurophysiologic and cognitive behavior assessment and collaborative robotic applications.
