On Saturday, May 13, the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics celebrated its graduating classes of 2023.
More than 300 people gathered to recognize 69 BAEM, 13 Masters and 7 Ph.D. candidates who crossed the stage to receive their degrees. Associate Professor Melissa Green and Professor Ryan Elliott addressed the undergraduates and graduates, respectively, while Clare Graney-Dolan, BAEM 2023 was this year’s student speaker.
Upon closing remarks by Professor and Department Head Perry Leo, the graduates and their families headed back to the Balas Atrium inside Akerman Hall for a reception to celebrate everyone’s achievements.
