Google Workspace Apps Interface Changes

Google has started updating the look and feel of Google Chat to align with the changes that happened to Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides back in March. Google is simplifying the user interface to help you find frequently used actions faster. While there will be no changes in existing functionality, some features have been relocated to reduce clutter in the new interface, and there are some additional features to help with collaboration. New features include Space Availability and a Google Meet integration.

Note: These changes may appear in your personal Google account before your University account.
