Nanomedicine Workshop

Nanotechnology offers devices, materials, and approaches that are increasingly being applied to the life sciences. There is growing interest in building more interdisciplinary collaboration to exploit nanotechnology in the fields of medicine, dentistry, veterinary science, and pharmaceutics, as well as other bioscience areas such as plant science and bioengineering.

The Nanomedicine Workshop offers attendees an introduction to the world of nanomedicine, covering topics including nanoscale biosensors, nanostructured biosurfaces, and nanoparticle drug delivery. The workshop features presenters from a variety of institutions and academic backgrounds, describing their work in applying nanoscience to the life sciences.
