Resolved: Service Degradation: Electron-based programs in VOLE

In the morning, CSE-IT made an update to VOLE that prevents electron-based programs (including Atom and VSCode) from running. VOLE can still be used for other, non-electron based applications.
Resolved: Service Outage: CSE SPA Server down

At 10:30 a.m. on November 30, 2020, CSE-IT became aware that the server in SPA was down. This was caused by a cooling failure of the PAN data center.

Shortly after 11:00am, CSE-IT became aware that many of the machines in the Math department had lost network connectivity. Restarting the computer will restore its network connectivity.

At around 12:17 PM, the cse.umn.edu website became unavailable. At around 12:55 PM, access to cse.umn.edu was restored.
