April 8 Solar Eclipse Watch Party
Join the Minnesota Space Grant Consortium this Monday to view the total solar eclipse! The event will take place both in (and just outside) the Balas Atrium in Akerman Hall - max obscuration (about 75% coverage of the sun) will occur at about 2 p.m.
 

There will be telescope viewing, if weather permits, and eclipse glasses will be available (until they run out).

This event will also feature online viewing of live streams from Space Grant stratospheric balloons missions, so drop by even if it happens to be cloudy!
