Outage Description

At 10:23a.m, CSE-IT began receiving reports of a burnt UPS. Symptoms include: no access to some file servers and umh's.

Outage Updates

  • 03/20/2024, 10:23 a.m. At 10:23a.m on 3/20/2024, We, CSE-IT began receiving reports of a burnt UPS. Symptoms include: no access to some file servers and umh's. We are still investigating the cause(s) of this issue and we will update this notice once service is restored.
  • 03/21/2024, 1:30 p.m. At 1:30pm, CSE-IT will need to replace the UPS as well as some networking equipment, it is unclear if anything else needs to be replaced or not yet, and not sure on the details of what all was damaged.
  • 03/28/2024, 3:43 p.m. At 3:43pm, while CSE-IT technicians have restored all services, ongoing cleanup will continue in the affected areas.
