ECE Graduate Handbook

The ECE Graduate Handbook contains information that is critical to your success in the program. It will help you navigate degree and program requirements related to coursework, exam requirements (for doctoral students), steps towards completion of your degree, and important information related to ethics in research and the student conduct code.

If you are an international student, information regarding curricular practical training (CPT; work authorization in your area of study while still a student registered in our program), and language proficiency requirements will be especially useful.

The handbook also contains information on housing, and living in the Twin Cities. The handbook is required reading for our current students. And if you are someone interested in joining our MSECE or PhD programs, the ECE Graduate Student Handbook is strongly recommended reading.
