Business and Industry Partnerships
Our relationship with alumni, industry partners, and the state of Minnesota is critical to the success of our students and our research at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Support from of our partners helps bring about big discoveries, every day innovations and the next generation of talent entering the workforce. Partnerships can positively impact our students and faculty in many ways. Scholarships and fellowships directly support our students. Private funding for faculty research unleashes the creativity and flexibility needed to drive future innovation and solve some of the world’s most pressing problems. Student group and project support allows students to get crucial hands-on experience doing real engineering while tending to their studies. Volunteering for competitive events, mentoring students, or being part of our advisory council help build the types of relationships that benefit us all.
