The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) provides undergraduate students with faculty mentorship and active learning, creating valuable opportunities to build their knowledge while being challenged in new ways.
Undergraduate students can explore their academic and career interests, apply classroom learning to innovative research, and prepare for a career or graduate school while working closely with a University of Minnesota faculty member. Through UROP, students can partner with a faculty member on research, scholarly and creative projects, or work on a project of their own creation with faculty oversight.
Before applying, be sure to have the required forms filled out and a faculty member chosen. Contact the Office of Undergraduate Education at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (612) 625-3853 with any questions during the application process.
