Parenting, Lactation, and Family Resources
Learn about the ways you can be supported when you become a parent at ME. Below are a few parenting and family resources at the University. While this is not an exhaustive list of resources, please reach out to the Office of Human Resources (ohr@umn.edu) for further questions.

FOR STUDENTS
Student Parent HELP Center at the U of MN-Twin Cities is a broad spectrum support program for pregnant and parenting U of M students at all degree levels.
Services include but are not limited to:
- Two child care grants
- Staff of trained child and family professionals providing academic, financial, and family-based referrals and supports
- Title IX pregnancy leave and family related absence advocacy
- General parenting accommodations advice (available to both students and staff/faculty)
- Central study space and computer lab in Appleby Hall
- Basic needs referrals for students with children
- Family-friendly events
