2024 NSF CAREER grant awarded to Assistant Professor Nick Arnosti

Congratulations to Assistant Professor Nick Arnosti on being awarded the 2024 NSF CAREER grant. This is a 5-year award, given to junior researchers. Professor Arnosti's grant is for $530,121 (across all 5 years). Over these 5 years he will explore " . . innovative policies to increase housing voucher utilization and assist more high-barrier households, increase voucher waiting list movement and the number of households living in high-opportunity communities, reduce returns to homelessness by households receiving rapid rehousing support, and ensure that new rental units are offered to a diverse set of applicants." Equally, he will leverage collaborations with government agencies to bring insights from this work to practice.
