Ying Cui is top 3 finalist for the INFORMS JFIG Competition
Congratulations to Ying Cui on being a top 3 finalist for the INFORMS Junior Faculty Interest Group (JFIG) Competition for her paper "A Decomposition Algorithm for Two-Stage Stochastic Programs with Nonconvex Recourse," co-authored with Hanyang Li. The finalists will present in two JFIG competition sessions at the upcoming INFORMS annual meeting October 16-17.
The INFORMS Junior Faculty Interest Group (JFIG) Forum invites submissions to the INFORMS JFIG paper competition. JFIG promotes the career development of tenure-track faculty in INFORMS. The paper competition encourages research among junior faculty and to increase the visibility of research conducted by junior faculty within the fields of operations research and management science.
