Katherine Garvey leads Strategic Engagements within Research & Development at Medtronic. Her focus includes technology partnerships, driving innovation to benefit patients everywhere.
She brings product development experience from a variety of industries. Prior to joining Medtronic, Katherine held leadership positions within Lockheed Martin, a global security corporation in the Department of Defense space; Gallup, Inc, an analytics and advisory organization that leads public opinion polls; and Sabre Corp, the largest global distribution systems provider for air bookings in North America.
With a strong passion for advancing innovation and the talent pipeline, her advisory board experiences include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) focused organizations that advance innovation and the talent pipeline. Katherine graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Computer Engineering and the University of St. Thomas with an MBA degree.
