PhD Candidate Mirko Musa awarded Heinz G. Stefan Fellowship
Mirko Musa. PhD Candidate in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geo-Engineering and student at the St. Anthony Falls Laboratory, was awarded the Heinz G. Stefan Fellowship during a special SAFL seminar on March 28th, 2017. The Heinz G. Stefan Fellowship is given to a University of Minnesota student pursuing graduate studies in water resources engineering who is studying at the St. Anthony Falls Laboratory. Special consideration is given to students involved in environmental hydraulics.
Mirko received a monetary award to support her research, a certificate, and recognition on the SAFL website and in future presentations of the award. He is advised by Professor Michele Guala.
The award presentation was followed by a Distinguished Lecture given by Dr. John Gulliver, Professor of the St. Anthony Falls Laboratory and Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geo- Engineering.
