About
Poornima Natarajan is a research associate at the St. Anthony Falls Laboratory working with Professor John Gulliver. Poornima primarily researches stormwater, and her research interests include surface water quality, phosphorus dynamics, phosphorus treatment in stormwater, stormwater management and treatment technologies, low-impact development (LID), and urban ecosystem restoration. Some of Poornima's recent research projects include a study of internal phosphorus release in stormwater ponds, research on phosphorus load reduction, and an assessment of a former infiltration basin transitioned into a wetland like area for water quality benefits.
