Darcy Shukla is a registered patent attorney focusing on patent prosecution in the electronics, software, computer architecture and wireless communication arts. She originally began working with Shumaker & Sieffert in 2003 as a technical specialist and continued to work with the firm during law school as a law clerk. During law school, Darcy was a student director and competition team member for the University of Minnesota Law School Intellectual Property Moot Court and received recognition for Best Appellee Brief in the AIPLA-sponsored Giles S. Rich Moot Court Competition, Northeast Region. Darcy was also a judicial extern for the Honorable Joan N. Ericksen of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. Prior to rejoining Shumaker & Sieffert, Darcy was an associate in the IP litigation group at Faegre & Benson, where her practice focused on patent litigation including pre-suit infringement investigations. Darcy has coordinated the annual AIPLA Women in IP Community Service Event for St. Paul, MN since 2016. She is also an associate in the Honorable Judge Jimmie V. Reyna IP Inn of Court.
