Daoutidis wins CA Floudas Mathematical Optimization Award
During the 33rd European Symposium on Computer-Aided Process Engineering that took place in Athens, Greece on June 18-21, 2023, Professor Prodromos Daoutidis was awarded the CA Floudas Mathematical Optimization Award. This newly established award aims to honor the legacy of Professor Christodoulos A. Floudas and is granted by the Computer Aided Process Engineering (CAPE) Working Party of the European Federation of Chemical Engineers (EFCE) in recognition of mathematical excellence, depth, and rigor to address novel optimization methods and algorithms.
