Paulina Eberts competing to win University-wide 3-Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition

Congratulations to Paulina Eberts, a sixth-year PhD candidate co-advised by CEMS Professor Samira Azarin and Biomedical Engineering Professor Casim Sarkar, for winning the College of Science and Engineering (CSE) 3-Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition on October 20 for her topic "Decoding Blood-Brain Barrier Dysfunction in Alzheimer's Disease."

She now advances to the University-wide competition on November 11 at 10 a.m. in Coffman Union. Register to attend and cheer on Paulina among seven other competitors vying to represent the University of Minnesota at the Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools (MAGS) 3-Minute Thesis competition. In addition, participants will be invited to present their research at an upcoming Board of Regents meeting.

Paulina is a past recipient of the Jan and Sofia Milner Laskowski Fellowship and the Teletzke Family Fellowship in CEMS. Congratulations and good luck, Paulina!
