As part of our data science initiatives, CEMS organized and hosted a webinar on September 29, 2022, on “Industrial perspectives on data science in chemicals and advanced materials." The webinar brought together industry thought leaders to discuss industry workforce needs, current and future deployment of data science tools and practices, success stories and barriers, major trends and open problems, and industry-academia engagement opportunities. Our new MS degree program on data science for chemical engineering and materials science was also formally announced.
