Dr. Galin Jones announced as Co-Editor of JCGS

Galin Jones has been announced as a co-editor of the Journal of Computational and Graphical Statistics (JCGS). Jones is a Professor and Director of the School of Statistics and is also involved in the Institute for Research in Statistics and its Applications (IRSA), the Data Science program, and the Data Science in Multi-messenger Astrophysics program, all at the University of Minnesota. He has collaborated on a multitude of research projects since earning his Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Florida in 2001.

JCGS is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that aims to present “the very latest techniques on improving and extending the use of computational and graphical methods in statistics and data analysis”. It is published by Taylor & Francis on behalf of the American Statistical Association and incorporates cutting-edge statistical research, surveys, data, and more.
