Great Lakes Geologic Mapping Coalition

The Great Lakes Geologic Mapping Coalition (GLGMC) is a partnership between the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), seven Great Lakes states, and the Canadian province of Ontario, all working to advance our understanding of the region's geology.

A newly released Fact Sheet by the USGS describes this collective effort and features County Geologic Atlas mapping by the Minnesota Geological Survey.
