MOT Program Requirements
Most qualified prospective Management of Technology (MOT) students have at least five years of full-time work experience in a science, engineering or technology-related area.
MDI Program Requirements
Qualified candidates are new graduates and industry professionals looking to gain skills to drive innovation and business growth. Learn more about the degree program requirements below.
ST Program Requirements
We accept applications to the ST degree program on a rolling basis. Visit our program requirements page for more information below.
The priority deadline for admission and scholarship consideration is January 15. After January 15, TLI will continue to accept applications on a rolling basis. Those who submit their application and have all of their application materials in by the priority deadline of January 15 will receive a decision onMarch 1. Those who submit complete applications after the priority deadline will receive a decision within 6 weeks. The final date to apply to our programs is July 15. Those who require a visa to complete the program are encouraged to apply as early as possible, preferably by the priority date.

Master's Programs Merit-based scholarships
The Technological Leadership Institute offers a limited number of merit-based scholarships for new Master's students. All applicants are automatically considered, with no separate application needed. To receive priority consideration, submit your application by January 15. Applications received after this deadline will still be considered if funds are available. Scholarship recipients will be notified in their acceptance letter. Scholarships are only available for MS students.

Master's Programs Admissions Requirements
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university or a comparable degree from a recognized college or university in another country by the time of their matriculation in their graduate program
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
If your GPA is below 3.0, you are required to submit an Extenuating Circumstances Statement with your application. This statement should explain any factors that may have impacted your GPA and demonstrate your potential for success in a graduate-level program.
Demonstrated leadership potential or experience
Admitted Security Technologies (ST) students must consent to and successfully pass a background check before beginning the program.
