MOT Program Requirements
Most qualified prospective Management of Technology (MOT) students have at least five years of full-time work experience in a science, engineering or technology-related area.

Master Programs Admissions Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university or a comparable degree from a recognized college or university in another country by the time of their matriculation in their graduate program
- Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Demonstrated leadership potential or experience
- Admitted Security Technologies (ST) students must consent to and successfully pass a background check before beginning the program.

Master Programs Application Materials
Applicants must complete and submit an online application. The system allows applicants to save their work and return to it at any time. Supporting materials and the application fee are submitted through the online application system.

How to Apply
In order to get started, you will need to create an online application. This will be used to submit all required documentation to apply to any of TLI's three degree programs, which are a part of the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus in Minneapolis. The link below will walk you through each section of the application.

Application Deadline
The priority deadline for admission is January 15. After January 15, TLI will continue to accept applications on a rolling basis. Those who submit their application and have all of their application materials in by the priority deadline of January 15 will receive a decision by March 1. Those who submit complete applications after the priority deadline will receive a decision within 6 weeks. The final date to apply to our programs is July 15. Those who require a visa to complete the program are encouraged to apply as early as possible, preferably by the priority date.
