How to Access UNITE Media

You may access UNITE video and audio content through the UNITE Media Portal with your University of Minnesota Internet ID. 

The UNITE Media Portal is a "portal" web site - a single, personal online gateway to the UNITE-created content for courses. Each course that UNITE offers has a unique page, with links to course Canvas or other web sites, faculty and TA information and exam dates. 

To login, you need to have a University of Minnesota Internet ID and password:

  1. If you are new to the University of Minnesota, the University will create your University Internet ID as part of the enrollment process.  If you have a University Internet ID from a past affiliation with the University (i.e., previous student enrollment, previous application to a program or college, etc.) and have forgotten it, please contact our office. 

    First time users will need to claim University Internet IDs and set the password.  Otherwise, skip to item number two on this list.

    Claim your University of Minnesota Internet ID account through the Student Account Initiation web site.
     
  2. Navigate to the UNITE Media Portal
     
  3. Log in. Type your University Internet ID and password in the correct fields.
     
  4. Click OK.
     
  5. You will see a link for each course for which you enrolled through UNITE in the current semester. Click on the course link to navigate to that unique course page.

Notice to Late Registrants:
Students who register late be advised that it may take up to 24 hours to be able to access the courses following your registration date.  This is outside UNITE's control.
