Virtual Data Science Poster Fair held on April 23

On Friday, April 23, 2021, the University of Minnesota's data science program hosted its first virtual poster fair. This year, twenty data science M.S. students presented their work via Zoom in five different breakout rooms. The research being shared was conducted under the guidance of a faculty advisor and fulfills the Master's capstone project degree requirement.

Projects spanned across multiple disciplines. Prior to the live event, student presenters submitted a five-minute video highlighting their work. Learn more about what this year's data science students have been working on by viewing the event schedule and watching the research overview videos.

Thank you to everyone who attended this year's event. Special kudos to the student presenters who did a fantastic job as we continue to navigate the online world we currently reside in.

Watch the data science website for details about the next poster fair, which will be held in the spring of 2022.
