EVENT: The New Frontier for Economic Value Creation

Register Now

Goods and services everywhere are being commoditized. What consumers want today are experiences — memorable events that engage each individual in an inherently personal way. Businesses must embrace the principles of the “Experience Economy” to stage ever-more engaging experiences. Joe Pine, co-author of "The Experience Economy," will discuss the evolution of economic value creation from commodities and goods through services to the new frontier of differentiated experiences. He will discuss the principles that matter most in both B2C and B2B enterprises and show attendees how to create greater economic value for your customers. We'll tap the wisdom of the crowd to discuss best practices and key insights for our own Minnesota businesses. Please join us for a stimulating and interactive discussion.

We also invite you to join us for a happy hour (appetizers and cash bar) from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to network with the University of Minnesota community and local tech and business professionals.

Event Schedule:
5:30 p.m.: Arrival, happy hour & networking
6:00 p.m.: Program begins
6:30 p.m.: Table group discussions, followed by Q&A with the guest speaker
7:00 p.m.: Program concludes & networking
