A note from Associate Director of Development
Greetings from Walter Library! As I reflect on the last year and a half in my role as the Associate Director of Development for the School of Physics and Astronomy, I remain incredibly proud to work alongside a world-class department that makes a profound impact in Minnesota and beyond.
It has been a joy connecting with our dedicated community over the past 19 months, and the best is yet to come. In fact, we are heading into a spectacular "Summer of Quirky Quantum" and we look forward to seeing you there!
I continue to be humbled and amazed by this community and the ways you continue to engage: mentoring, attending lectures, giving, and beyond. Your generosity is what makes us who we are. So thank you!
Your gifts make a direct impact by:
- Providing scholarships so talented undergraduate students can pursue their dreams without financial barriers.
- Attracting and retaining the brightest graduate students through fellowships, fueling research that tackles global challenges.
- Supporting faculty in delivering innovative teaching and conducting groundbreaking discoveries (including those quirky quantum ones!).
If you're interested in making a lasting impact—now or in the future—please reach out! Together, we can shape what’s next for physics, astronomy, and the students who will lead the way.
