The University of Minnesota is proud to announce its new Center for Medical Device Cybersecurity (CMDC). The center, which will be housed with the Technological Leadership Institute, will foster university-industry-government collaborations to ensure that medical devices are both safe and secure from the growing number of cybersecurity threats.

MDI alumni Anders Olmanson's company, REMastered Sleep, which evolved out of his experience in the program, was featured in the Minneapolis Business Journal. Since launching its product in December, REMasteredSleep has sold over $65,000 worth of REMplenish products. And more than a quarter of its customers are health care professionals, including sleep doctors, dentists and speech therapists, according to the company.
