Physics Force Public Shows

Physics Force, an outreach program with a 40 year history the University of Minnesota, is staging their annual Physics Force performances in Northrop in January 2025. Physics Force is comprised of a troupe of performers conveying the excitement of Physics and illustrating basic Physics principles in a stage show with big, theatrical demonstrations. The Physics Force is composed of a number of volunteers including School of Physics and Astronomy faculty, local educators, and others who want to foster enthusiasm for Physics and kindle interest in STEM for students. 

Every program year, the Physics Force stages a series of 10 shows in Northrop Auditorium on weekdays, free to the public. The shows are attended by over 10,000 students each year coming from schools, homeschool groups, and more all around Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin.
