Marshall J. Graney Scholarship
In honor of Professor Homer T. Mantis, a meteorological physicist who was a member of our faculty for over 30 years. This scholarship provides support to full-time undergraduates working towards a degree in Physics.

Campbell Haasch
Campbell is originally from Omaha, Nebraska. He plans to use the money to pay for tuition. "I am most focused on Cosmology and applications of machine learning to data processing."
Alina Kaliszewski
Alina is originally from Rochester, Minnesota. Her scholarship will be put toward tuition for her senior year at the University of Minnesota. "My primary research interest is in cosmology, particularly Active Galactic Nucleus galaxies and the Hubble constant."

2021 Marshall Graney Scholarship
Jamison Ward
Jamison is originally from Zimmerman, MN. This summer, he will work with Professor Lindsay Glesener in the University’s Small Satellite Research Laboratory. His research will concern characterizing the x-ray detectors on the IMPRESS CubeSat, a solar science mission that will investigate poorly understood phenomena related to solar flares. Jamison plans to use the scholarship funds for tuition expenses.
2024 Marshall Graney Scholarship Recipients
Theodore Parker: "I am mainly interested in high energy physics research. Neutrino physics specifically."
