Research Interests
My research focuses on the physics of the Large Hadron Collider and the tools and techniques required to make the most of the data produced at the collider.
My major physics interests at the moment include
- Searches for heavy right-handed neutrinos and heavy right-handed W bosons from a left-right symmetric extension of the Standard Model
- Searches for the Higgs boson, particularly in its decays to pairs of Z bosons
- Measurements of the parameters of Z/Drell-Yan production at the LHC and application of these measurements to the structure of the proton
My group is also involved in the hardware for the Hadron Calorimeter and has major responsibility for the readout and trigger electronics for HCAL upgrade projects.
