Computing Facilities
Students and faculty make use of the excellent computational facilities in the department and throughout the University. The main departmentally-supported systems in the Physics Unix network are servers and workstations running Scientific Linux.
Our network supports both general departmental and student computing, and research activities within various research groups including High Energy Physics, Nuclear Theory and Cosmology, the Fine Theoretical Physics Institute, and the Minnesota Institute for Astrophysics.
