Computer Engineering, VLSI, and Circuits
Computer Engineering, VLSI, and Circuits is one of the seven areas in which ECE faculty conduct research. Our faculty conduct research in areas such as Stochastic Computing, Biological Computing Systems, Parallel Computing, High Performance Computing, Energy Efficient Computing, Computer Architecture, Performance Evaluation, VLSI Computer-Aided Design (CAD), FPGAs, Analog and Digital VLSI Design. Their research on topics that straddle the spectrum from the applied to the theoretical with very wide ranging impacts helps foster strong connections and collaborations with experts in other departments and centers at the University, as well as institutions across the country and the world.
