Kimberly Berneck, CEO at BTM Global.

As COO (and named CEO successor), Kimberly oversees BTM Global’s core practice areas in the U.S. that include Oracle Retail and NetSuite. She ensures all aspects of client management, project delivery, and sales are of the highest standards, ultimately accelerating clients’ goals and success. Kimberly believes that transparency and consistent results build long-lasting professional relationships, and she emphasizes this to her teams. She has nearly two decades of experience delivering large-scale software projects in the eCommerce, financial services, mortgage banking, retail and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining BTM Global, she was the senior director of retail development at Oracle Retail. She has held positions at ShopNBC, Retek Inc. (now Oracle Retail), Plural (now Dell) Consulting and Accenture. Kimberly has a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota.

During this Technically Speaking talk, Kimberly will walk you through her 'Candy Land' journey from a BS in Chemical Engineering from UMN to CEO of an IT company.  She will also dive into the specific skills and experience required to lead a technical organization.  As the next CEO of the company... what is her plan for a smooth succession?

Mina Fahim, CEO and President at MediView. Mina has a background in cardiovascular, radiology, orthopedics and diagnostic medical device leadership, product development and commercialization. Throughout the years he has worked at Medtronic, Abbott, Beckman Coulter, Excelen and now serves as CEO and President of MediView where they leverage augmented reality and artificial intelligence to simplify, democratize and inform healthcare delivery. With some incredible partners, Mina is a serial entrepreneur in the medtech and fintech spaces. Mina approaches his life with a foundation of trust, team, transparency and track record to encourage collaboration and innovation focused on advancing people’s everyday lives. Outside of work Mina works with a number of non-profit organizations and his church focused on medical, social and spiritual services and missions. He enjoys biking, basketball, travelling and spending time with his family and friends.
