Alford paper named best of 2017

May 31, 2018 — The 2017 paper, “Empirically Determined Vascular Smooth Muscle Cell Mechano-Adaptation Law,” by Steucke et. al has been awarded the Richard Skalak Award for the best paper published in the Journal of Biomechanical Engineering, given by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Bioengineering Division.

The paper’s authors are Kerianne Steucke (PhD '17),  Zaw Win (PhD '17), Taylor Stemler (BBmE '17), Emily Walsh (BBmE '17), Jennifer Hall (Associate Professor, Medicine), and Patrick Alford (Associate Professor, Biomedical Engineering).
