How to apply
Prerequisites and admission criteria
-
Only current students in the Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate Program at the University of Minnesota are eligible to apply. Students from other programs or universities should view instructions on how to apply for our MS and PhD programs.
-
Students apply after the spring semester of their third year. Admission will be based solely on the BMEn GPA (that is, the GPA of the 13 required BMEn courses listed above). Applicants with a BMEn GPA of 3.6 or higher are guaranteed admission. Applicants with a lower GPA will be considered on a space-available basis.
