Only PhD applicants will be considered for financial support. There’s no separate financial support application. All full-time PhD applicants (both domestic and international) are automatically considered for financial support, which includes a stipend, health insurance, and full tuition coverage.
MS applicants are not eligible to apply for financial support from the department (fellowships, research/teaching assistantships, etc.). Individuals seeking a terminal Master’s program that will provide funding should look into other programs or institutions.
Students who apply for our Master's program should do so with the understanding that they will need to fund their own graduate degree program through personal savings, loans, off-campus employment, and/or other external sources of financial aid. International students are very rarely admitted to the terminal Master's program.
