MS - Coursework only

The Master’s-Plan C (coursework only) in Biomedical Engineering requires completing at least 30 credits of coursework. There’s no research component.

Timeline

Part-time students are expected to take one to two courses per semester and finish the Master's degree within five years. Full-time students can finish the Master’s degree in three semesters.

MS-Plan C students are required to complete at least 30 credits of coursework as indicated below. All electives must be at the 5000 level or higher.

Seminars

BMEn 8601 and/or BMEn 8602. Seminars are 1 credit per semester and may be repeated for credit.

Courses in engineering, physical sciences, and mathematics.

Graduation

Graduate degrees are awarded on the last working day of the month in which the candidate completes all requirements. In the spring of each year, eligible students may elect to participate in the Arts, Sciences and Engineering Graduate Commencement Ceremony.
