Anthony Tabet wins prestigious Churchill scholarship

January 19, 2017 — Congratulations to Anthony Tabet, an undergraduate researcher in Associate Professor Chun Wang's lab, for receiving a Churchill Scholarship from the Winston Churchill Foundation for the United States. Only 15 seniors from top colleges and research universities nationwide were selected as Churchill Scholars.

The scholarship will allow Tabet to spend the 2017-18 academic year at Churchill College of the University of Cambridge, where he will complete an MPhil in Chemistry. Working with Professor Oren Scherman, he will conduct research on supramolecular hydrogels which have potential therapeutic applications in cancer treatment.
