Daniel Lu awarded AHA Fellowship

July 26, 2016 — Xinran (Daniel) Lu, a PhD candidate in the Living Devices Lab, was recently awarded an American Heart Association Pre-Doctoral Fellowship.

Daniel's project, titled "A microfluidic platform to quantify the combined effects of rheology and endothelial adhesion in sickle cell disease," hopes to bridge the gap between the biological and physical components of sickle cell disease.
