John Bischof named Interim Director of IEM

September 21, 2017 — Biomedical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Professor John Bischof has been appointed as the interim director of the University's Institute for Engineering in Medicine (IEM).

Professor Bischof previously served as an associate director of IEM from 2007-2009 and 2013-2017. He is a renowned researcher in thermal bioengineering, having contributed to applications in therapeutics, regenerative medicine, and diagnostics.
